Dating

That's right people.- Randy and I have been asked to present a fireside on dating. WHAT? Maybe because we occassionally hold hands, and sit too close during Gospel Doctrine (it is COLD in there) and while I do like sitting still with my husband for what is probably the only uninterupted hour we get together each week, maybe we should quit and act like we just live together for heck of it?

Either way... what to tell youth about dating? Any thoughts?

PS I figured out how to load pictures onto my Ipad. How do I get them onto this blog? I have some REALLY good ones! The latest being randy with hair ties in his facial hair. Eeew. For some reason it did seem to fir his most recent description (given by one of my YW) as an overgrown leprechaun. If only the youth could see picturs of him from when we dated... then they would really see the truth of that statement.

sorry about the typos and run-on sentences. It's who I am. No, not really. I was rushed. Now, that, is who I am!

I remember having a lesson on dating when I was a youth and it had to do with candy bars, I can't remember the specifics, but I do know it had an good impact on my life (I made it a goal to only date members and go in group dates) and it was also way fun. I couldn't find the lesson, Sis Copass gave it by the way, and Sarah helped, I found a few ideas on sugar doodle,

and I found this,

I also remember writing a note to myself that night listing the qualities I wanted in a husband, I still have it.
